Rocksteady Studios announced via the Batman Arkham twitter page that Batman: Arkham Knight’s release date has been pushed back to June 23, 2015.
This is report-ably the second time that this much anticipated (and heavily teased) video game was pushed back. It was originally announced for a October 14, 2014 release date before being pushed back once to June 2, 2015.
“We’re a developer that hates to make any compromises, so we are sorry to say this means it’s going to be just a little bit longer until you can play the epic conclusion to the Arkham trilogy,” said Rocksteady game director Sefton Hill in a press release. “As a reward for your patience and understanding, and to make the wait even more unbearable, we are pleased to whet your appetite with a new gameplay video of Batman: Arkham Knight.”
Fans can only hope that after waiting almost 2 years that the game is worth the wait. After watching the over 7 minutes of gameplay video released this morning (watch below), I can only say, good things are worth waiting for.
